Buying Guide: Drum Stacking Racks

With drum stacking racks, drums, canisters, and small containers can be stored

Drum stacking racks are flexible, expandable hazardous material racks for drums and small containers. Our stacking modules can be combined and assembled almost without limits. The stacking racks can be stacked up to three levels. As a basic unit, there are stacking modules with a steel insert tray. On the rack module, a drum cradle is attached to store drums in a horizontal position. Alternatively, there is a variant with a grating as a storage level for small containers.

What are the characteristics of the stacking rack’s insert tray?

To store water-polluting substances (WGK 1-3) and flammable liquids (H224–H226) in compliance with regulations, the insert tray for stacking racks is made of 3 mm galvanized steel and is liquid-tight welded in accordance with StawaR. With a collection capacity of over 200 liters, the trays are generously dimensioned to safely store containers and drums up to 200 liters. The insert tray can be easily placed on the support rails of the stacking module.

How can the drum stacking modules be configured?

The drum stacking modules are available in two different widths: 755 mm or 1490 mm. In both widths, a module with an insert tray is available, as well as a stacking module without a tray for each version. This allows you to flexibly and comfortably allocate your available space with your drum stacking rack.
The stacking modules with a width of 755 mm are suitable for storing one 200 l drum per storage level. The modules with a width of 1490 mm are available in three different variants:

• 2 x 200 l drums per storage level
• 3 x 60 l drums per storage level
• Grating as a storage level for small containers

What accessories are available for drum stacking racks?

To efficiently use the stacking racks, we offer practical accessories. The standard drum cradles can be equipped with matching rollable cradles for 200 l and 60 l drums. The use of can and bucket holders facilitates dispensing. For dispensing from drums in the stacking rack, drum taps can be used.
