Buying Guide: Buy Pallet Racks with Spill Trays Online at MEILLER
The storage of hazardous materials in pallet racks with spill trays is space-saving, flexible, and safe. We offer a wide selection of pallet racks with steel spill trays in various versions for the standing and horizontal storage of 200 l barrels and for storing 1000 l IBC containers. In addition to simple pallet racks, there are also rack systems with grid grates as storage levels and splash guard walls for better hazardous material handling. In case of a leakage, hazardous materials that leak out are safely collected in the steel spill tray under the pallet rack.
Can Existing Pallet Racks Be Extended?
Individual base sections of the pallet racks with spill trays can be extended with add-on units, allowing a customized hazardous material storage system to be assembled according to your needs. Each rack section can store up to 24 barrels of 200 l or 4 IBCs of 1000 l. All pallet racks have a frame depth of 1100 mm or 1300 mm for IBC storage and a field width of 2700 mm.
What Are the Features of Pallet Racks with Spill Trays?
Our pallet racks are highly flexible systems. The rack construction consists of galvanized frames and powder-coated cross beams. The cross beams of the pallet rack are height-adjustable by 50 mm. Pallet racks for the standing storage of barrels or IBCs are equipped with grid grates as storage levels. For horizontal barrel storage in the pallet rack, galvanized barrel supports are attached to the rack cross beams, suitable for storing 200 l barrels. On request, rollable barrel supports can also be used in the pallet rack.
Grid grates as storage levels for standing storage
Barrel supports (fixed or rollable) for horizontal storage
With rack bottom trays made of steel, optionally galvanized or painted
Practical accessories (collision protection, barrel residue emptiers, extendable barrel supports, can and bucket holders)
What Hazardous Materials Can Be Stored in a Pallet Rack with a Steel Spill Tray?
Due to the design of the rack tray made of steel according to StawaR, water-polluting substances (WGK 1-3) and flammable liquids (H224-H226) can be stored in compliance with the WHG.
What Should I Consider When Storing Hazardous Materials in a Pallet Rack?
Pallet racks with spill trays must be installed in a rain-protected area. The same regulations apply as for conventional spill trays. The spill tray must always be cleaned of dirt and water.
When using hazardous material racks, businesses are also required to provide suitable collision and impact protection. According to the BetrSichV for stationary racks, hazardous material racks must be inspected annually. In addition, you must regularly check the spill tray of the pallet rack for tightness.
