The drum claw gripper is a high-quality mechanical drum handler designed for lifting upright 60-liter drums with rolling hoops and beaded edges. The drum claw gripper can handle both open-top and closed drums. It has a load capacity of 150 kg and is manually operated. It can be used with either a crane or a forklift (in conjunction with appropriate lifting accessories). The advanced 4-point clamping system securely grips the drum. In the open position, the locking mechanism is safely hooked into the hand lever to keep the drum claw gripper in its open state. The gripper is lowered onto the upright 60-liter steel drum using a crane or forklift, then the locking mechanism is released, and the 4-point clamping system automatically grips the drum beneath the drum rim. Once the drum is lifted and moved, it is lowered to the ground, and the locking mechanism is manually engaged to release the drum gripper from the drum.How the drum claw gripper works:

  • In the open state, the locking mechanism is secured in the hand lever.
  • The gripper is positioned on the drum using a crane.
  • By releasing the lock, the clamping claws automatically grip the drum when lifting is initiated.
  • To release the drum, the process is reversed after the drum is set on the ground.
