Description

The drum is picked up by approaching the full drum, lowering the runner including the manipulator to drum height, and securing it by operating the ‘CLOSE’ control valve. The drum is firmly clamped in the drum forks with a holder and can be handled.The drum manipulator is suitable for handling both vertical and horizontal 205-liter drums. It is used with a forklift, for example, for storing and loading drums into drum racks, filling stations, rack containers, hazardous material pallets, collection stations, drum handling areas, etc. The FM-2 drum manipulator operates fully hydraulically with an additional 4-way control valve with control block and open passage to the forklift hydraulics, which can be manually operated. The drum manipulator can be quickly mounted and dismounted from the forklift attachment console using screw fastenings.
