The drum clamping claw grab made of stainless steel (V2A) is designed for gripping upright 60 l lid drums. The grab features a 4-point clamping system, a locking device, and a hand lever. Using the drum clamping claw grab, upright 60 l lid drums can be handled, even without a lid. The grab can be operated with a crane via its suspension eye. Due to its V2A stainless steel material, the drum grab is particularly suitable for industries with high hygiene and safety requirements, such as the pharmaceutical and food industries. Additionally, the stainless steel drum clamping claw grab can be used in explosion-proof (Ex) areas.Functionality
The drum grab is manually operated and can be used with a crane or forklift (in combination with suitable slinging equipment). Thanks to the advanced 4-point clamping system, the grab securely grips the drum. In the open state, the locking mechanism is securely hooked into the hand lever to keep the drum grab open. Using a crane or forklift, the grab is lowered onto the upright 60 l steel drum. Once in position, the locking mechanism is released, and the 4-point clamping system automatically grips the drum under the drum rim. After lifting and moving the drum, it is lowered, and the locking mechanism is manually secured in the hand lever to release the grab from the drum.
